In the second step of hot rolling process, different finished mills are used to roll billets or continuous casting billets into finished steel of proper shape and size. This BP440 steel used for safety gate production process is called finished product production, which is generally divided into two stages of rough rolling and finish rolling. In the roughing stage, a large amount of reduction (reduction per pass) is adopted to reduce the number of passes and improve the output; after roughing, the finishing stage is entered, and the finishing is carried out with a small amount of reduction to achieve a good surface and accurate BP440 steel used for safety gate size.
The Egypt customer ordered 130 tons BP440 steel used for safety gate stainless steel plate in stock, and this batch has left port today for its destination today(October 25th, 2019). 316l stainless steel is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. This material has better corrosion resistant property than 304/314L for it's higher Ni and Mo content. (it is considered to be marine grade stainless steel, not suitable for warm sea water treatment). 316L austenitic stainless steel supplied by our company has good formability and weldablity, additionally it is proved to have excellent properties of tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths in elevated temperature environment.
Hardness comparison between Q345B steel and NM450 steel: wear resistant steel for construction machinery requires high wear resistance, high toughness, impact resistance, easy welding, easy forming and other high-performance characteristics. The main index of wear resistance is the surface hardness. The higher the hardness, the better the wear resistance. Compared with BP440 steel used for safety gate, Q345B steel, the hardness of NM450 steel is only increased 3 times, but the average service life is increased 6-8 times under the same working conditions.
