The most remarkable characteristic of low alloy high strength steel is high strength. In hot rolling or normalizing state, the strength of low alloy high strength steel is generally 30% - 50% higher than that of corresponding carbon engineering structural steel, BP500 steel main application. According to EN 10025-2, the thickness of S450J0 plate is within 3-150mm. The BP500 steel main application, S235 steel, S275 steel and S355 steel plate thickness is ≤250mm. However, the S235J2, S275J2, S355J2 and S355K2 plates limitation is ≤400mm.
