Is carbon steel 20#? Carbon steel means that alloy elements are not specially added into the steel, which is divided into ordinary carbon structural steel and high-quality carbon structural steel. The grades of ordinary carbon structural steel are Q195, Q215, Q235 and Q275. The grades of high quality carbon structural steels are: 10#, 20#, 45#, 15Mn, 20Mn, 25Mn, 30Mn, 35Mn, 40Mn, 45Mn, 65Mn, etc. It can be seen that STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate, 20# steel is carbon steel, but carbon steel means more than 20# steel.
Our company specializes in the production of steel plates, steel coil, steel sections, welded pipes and seamless pipes products, sales of GB, ASME, ASTM, JIS, DIN, EN, API and other standards and specifications of steel STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate and deep-processed products, facing the domestic and foreign markets, welcome to call for inquiries. It is a modern high-tech professional enterprise integrating scientific research, production and sales.
Tempering includes high temperature tempering, medium temperature tempering and low temperature tempering. Tempering means to reheat the STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate quenched steel to a certain temperature and then cool it in a certain way. Tempering can reduce or eliminate the internal stress produced by quenching, reduce the hardness and strength, and improve the ductility or toughness of steel. After STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate quenching, the workpiece should be tempered in time, and the required mechanical properties can be obtained through the combination of quenching and tempering.
With the increase of temperature, the yield limit of STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate will decrease monotonically, but the tensile strength of STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate will rise to a high peak value at a certain temperature, and then decrease. This peak temperature is called the blue brittleness temperature of STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate. Near the blue brittleness temperature, the STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate strength increases and the plasticity decreases. The elongation and section shrinkage of STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate increase with the increase of temperature, but there is a low peak at the blue brittleness temperature. The blue brittleness temperature of low carbon steel ranges from 200 ℃ to 250 ℃. The blue brittleness of low alloy steel is not obvious as that of low carbon steel, and the blue brittleness temperature is higher.
Before delivering our hot rolled plate product we apply various tests to check the quality of carbon steel STANAG 4569 1 steel ballistic plate plates such as- mechanical test, chemical test, hardness test, toughness test, eddy current test, impact test, micro test, flaring test, flattening test, etc. We are provided best packing for structural steel plates to avoid rust. Our after-sales service team will contact you if you have any question.
